Train Your Dog – The Groundwork

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

You should start training dogs as young as you possibly can. Puppies learn quicker and far from being cruel it helps them to adapt and be happier animals. It is absolutely essential that you get dogs into a routine before you can start any formal training and this should include set meal times and walk times. If you let your dogs out in the yard then you should try to do so at a time when they need to go out.

Some people express concern that training a young puppy is cruel. However, as its parent you are responsible for ensuring your dog learns right from wrong and performs the right actions at the right time. Without a structured life and input from you, your puppy is likely to become down and depressed. Start young and start relatively lightly, there is certainly no need to start agility training immediately but you should learn a few basic commands. Training your dog can also ensure it’s future safety. For example an obedient dog is less likely to run away from home or run out into the street. Obedient dogs are usually exceptionally responsive to their masters call and therefore it is possible to keep them out of harms way.

You should always be prepared to praise your dogs when they do something you like. Initially you may want to include an edible treat as well, but in time you can and should revert to solely using verbal praise. By instilling these positive feelings your dog will be only too pleased to listen to your commands and aim to please you. This makes training very easy.

Puppy training classes are excellent for giving you the groundwork to continue at home, and they also provide you with the perfect opportunity to socialize your dog in an understanding environment. Your puppy will get to meet other dogs and other people and you will be able to learn how he or she copes with the situation. Don’t believe that going to puppy classes once a week should be considered a fill training program for your dog though. You must continue with the training when you get home. Try to set aside some time every single day to carry on the training.

There Are Many Things To Motivate A Man!

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

The human being is a social creature, so he requires motivation for effort. A man, who is skilled of doing all, needs approval from others for his works. For some works, when confidence is not strong enough to get going. Motivation is required to get the faith in capabilities. As we say-, ‘there are no limits for human’ but there are apprehension and insecurity for some important works. In some cases when people get exhausted, they think themselves to be broken down; for keeping their faith in abilities, and to keep them going on motivation is required.

There are many things to motivate a man. Some people are self-motivated, but are rare. Teaching and analyzing themselves and thinking positive can be self-motivation for them but after all men needs others also to believe in his abilities so even for some rare times they also need motivation from external things. Getting motivated is actually getting positive energy. Energy source can differ. It may be some person, some literature, some thought, some belief or something beautiful.

Motivational training is teaching a person to get his motivation and keep it on for long time. This teaching is in itself a motivation. As this training gives thoughts to get motivation. Therefore, this motivational training becomes the course of action, which gives you the integrated positive energy, to make you able for receiving energy from all the sources you have.

To get motivational training there are things that, provide self-energy such as:

Literature: – There are both kinds of literature to get motivation. Success literature can directly motivate as it is written for that purpose. There are Del Carnegi, Steven Conory, Swet Morden and their books like ‘seven habits of highly effective people.” They provide a view of life, so one can analyze him and get motivated for new challenges.

On the other hand, there are, Leo Tolstoy, Fyodor Dostoyevaskey and Charles Dickens,
they gave the way of thinking and provide thoughtfulness of human capabilities for motivations.

Trainers: – There are some experts in this field which provides the motivational strength to thoughts. Being face to face with a person is very different experience. On the other, hand everyone some persons whom he believes to be capable and owner of strong will power. Conversation with such person on personal matters can be the motivation.
Breaks: – When we are tired of our ongoing routines, often mind stops responding and everything seems to be dull and bore. In such case, it is better to go for some vacation and take a break. It gives freshness to the mind and provides great motivational energy.

There are no limitations of sources of motivation. Some sources appeal somebody and some not. Motivation is required for every one. Some times, we find those sources in our hobbies and sometimes in taking time with our families; some spatial friends give us motivation in spending time together.

Self-motivation is a rare but brilliant thing. It needs strong will power to be able to regenerate energy from our own thoughts. Our soul is the biggest source of motivational energy, so being honest with the soul makes you self motivated. Even if you have sources of motivation, self-motivation of our individuality is the most powerful one. No external power can de-motivate a self-motivated person.

House Training Dogs Successfully

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

You could House train your dog easily if you had the time to watch your puppy 24 hours a day. But as you can’t watch them around the clock, don’t expect to train them all at once. Training can take up to about 6 months. Puppies are growing and developing quickly at this stage. They eat more food and burn up lots of energy and consequently need to ‘go’ more often.

The most important issue in house training dogs should be teaching him to control his bowel. When he is still a puppy, he has not yet developed bladder control.

House training dogs is hard when you are not home. Your puppy needs a lot of attention. You should first confine your puppy in a puppy-proof room with paper spread all over the floor. Put his water bowls and food right next to it. The papers you have set on the floor may be dragged and chewed around his little den, but its important and helpful in teaching your puppy where to eliminate his waste properly. There will be no reason for him to defecate elsewhere. Your puppy will ‘go’ on the paper, and you need to clean it up when you arrive home. This may be an additional job for you, but patience is all it takes. Don’t worry because later on, he will move past this stage.

Paper training is very useful and a proven technique in training dogs. In this way, no matter where the dog relieves himself, he will still eliminate on the paper because he has no choice. Little by little, you will see some changes. Gradually reduce the amount paper you have set on the ground. Start to move the paper outside the house. Of course, as your puppy has become used to using the paper he will look for it. Once the paper has been moved to outside the house, your training is near its end. Move the paper about an inch per day.

Occasionally, you may discover that he has had ‘accidents’ inside the house again. Don’t be discouraged. This happens. What you need to do is repeat the training. But understand that it will not be as hard as the first time. House training your dog is key for both your dog and your sanity and sanitation.

You Can Build Your Own Doghouse!

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

Anybody who owns a dog will know that they can be expensive. Vets bills and food supplies soon mount up and this is why so many dogs end up abandoned in rescue centers or put out on to the street. Responsible dog owners are aware of the costs which a pet incurs and so go into it with their eyes open. However, an unnecessary expense is that involved with the purchase of a doghouse.

Many dog owners allow their pets to sleep in the home with them, thus eradicating the need for an exterior doghouse. But others prefer to distance themselves somewhat from their pets, preferring them to sleep outside at night. For these owners, the need to buy a doghouse is essential. These can range from budget buys which are little more than a wooden shell, to hugely extravagant constructions complete with a porch and stairs to make their kennel into a luxury home. Obviously, the cost rises proportionately to the quality of the doghouse. However, there is an alternative option.

You could build your own doghouse. You would still be required to pay for the supplies and you would have to do the work yourself but it means that you can tailor the doghouse to your pet. A doghouse should be large enough for your pet to comfortably turn but no bigger than that in order for it to retain the dog’s body heat and so self-insulate to a degree. Most readily available dog houses that you can buy from pet stores or similar places are a fairly standard size. Given that your doghouse should be sized in relation to your specific dog, you may find that, if you have a particularly large or small dog, that the shop bought ones are not ideal. Therefore, building your own can solve this problem.

There are a few things to remember when buying the materials for your doghouse. The first is to ensure that the doghouse is raised from the floor slightly to prevent moisture from seeping into the wood. The second is to ensure that you purchase exterior grade plywood and not pressure treated plywood. Exterior grade is slightly harder to come by as the majority of hardware stores sell pressure treated. However, this is treated with chemicals which may be harmful to your dog if they chew it.

These are the main things you need to adhere to when building your own doghouse. As long as these three areas, the size, raised from the ground and use of correct wood, are correct you can pretty much do what you like in terms of design and build. Why not decorate the finished doghouse to suit your pet’s personality? That is what I call a designer home!

End Your Hard Water Nightmares With A Water Softener

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

Are you tired of finding spots on your dishes and glasses after washing them with your dishwasher?

Are you tired of having stiff clothes after washing them with your washing machine?

Are you tired of being unable to get your surfaces cleaned because of the build up of scales?

All this could be the result of “hard water” that you use for the washing of your dishes, washing of your clothes and cleaning of your surfaces.

To solve these problems, it is necessary for you to use water softeners to ease the problem of “hard water”.

In case you haven’t heard about the wonders of water softeners, you should know that they are very important in helping you to solve the above problems and other problems caused by “hard water”.

As the name implies, water softeners are used to “soften” water. As easy as it sounds, most of the water that is available for use is “hard water”.

Water hardness simply refers to water that is hard. In more technical terms, it is water that has a high mineral content.

Water hardness is normally measured in grains per gallon (GPG), parts per million (PPM), or milligrams per liter (MG/L) Any water that measures 3.5 to 7 GPG when tested can be termed “hard water”.

Minerals that cause water hardness include calcium and magnesium.

Water softeners therefore help to soften the water, thereby preventing the above mentioned problems regarding your dishes, clothes. This process works by replacing ions of the minerals that cause the hardness of the water with softer ions.

Water softeners can be expensive, but if you look at the benefits, it is a worthy investment. The price of home water softeners depends, to a great deal, on the type, size and make.

With constant use of water softeners you can be sure of better results for your dishes, clothes, surfaces, etc.

Why not go for a water softener today?

So Is There a Pathway to High Conversion Rates?

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

The pathway to improved Conversion Rates (turning your visitors into customers) is
straight forward. It can be boiled down to a few very manageable steps. However most people turn these few manageable steps and turn them into the amazing race.

Reach targeted traffic in a credible fashion. Most surfers are looking for information and solutions. Problem is they usually don’t know exactly who or what can provide it. What do they do? Well, they rely on Search Engines to source possibilities that are worth their effort to visit. It’s through the Search Engines that you need to reach your visitors. This means that the Search Engines link to your site has to be visible and easy to access. Most surfers won’t scroll past the first 10-20 listings on a Search Engine’s search results page. Secondly, the description about your site must be interesting and credible enough to warrant a visit.

Free-For-All Sites are a great example of how not to reach people. For the most part, they have become so seamy and useless that, regardless of what you say, you’re doomed from the start. Your credibility takes a huge hit with Free-For-All Sites. Compare this with how smart and open-minded your visitor feels when she finds you via a Search Engine. She wants to read your information!

Write content that has your potential customer/client’s best interests at heart. Meet their needs. Fulfill their wishes. Provide a solution. In other words, PREsell… rather than sell. I often write about PREselling and so do most of the big guns on the net. PREselling is the key to success in business on the Net as it is in a traditional business. People walk into McDonald’s billions of times because they are already sold about the fact that they want a two all beef patty, special sauce, lettuce cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun. Well I can write it now I have to try to say it real fast….

Finally, recommend visitors to your income-generating source but only after they come to respect and like you. The key is to develop great content that leads to the click… Valuable Content = Credible Recommendation = Turned ON customer = High Conversions which all equals to another Rich Internet Marketer…. It’s important to not push your visitors to the click, make them want to click through. It makes all the difference if your visitors feel that it’s their idea to give you money and not something that you tricked them into…

Reseller Web Page Hosting: Living the Dream

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

It’s easy to find Reseller Web Hosting Service these days. The problem comes when trying to find a reliable service that will save you from everyday hassles and problems. Wouldn’t you hate to see that your Hosting was down for two days straight and there was nothing you could do because support “just wasn’t available”?

It’s not so easy to actually find a company that cares about you. Web hosting has become another term for “bad service” in many cases.

Still, most people haven’t found a solution because they don’t have time to try every Reseller service. They have to take guesses and see if they’ve made the right one. Another reason people choose these Web Site companies first is because they spend most of their money in advertising, which gives them good exposure, but not much money left for the service.

It’s much like watching your favorite movie, even though you payed the same to rent it, it has much better quality than the rest. It’s very similar when looking for the right Web Page Hosting.

Here are some things that make you realize you found the perfect service for you:

MySQL, PHP, Python, Perl, CGI, Cron: All the technical stuff you may require should be included. If you don’t know what that means don’t worry, but it’s always good to have it around just in case.

Disk Space: This is the amount of info you’ll be able to save in your hosting account. It’s recommended to get something around 5GB to have enough space.

Proper Web Statistics: How much traffic you’re getting? What keywords are people using to find you? What sites link to you? All this stuff you’ll want to know.

Right Price: Remember you will be paying a monthly fee. You’re going to find that getting the right price will save you money, and will give you a great service. Not too cheap that you regret it, but not to expensive either.

Doing the research for the right Reseller web hosting is no picnic, but it can be done.

We suggest taking your time to see that your service meets all of the above needs. This way you’ll have a pleasant experience and you won’t have to deal with this particular subject for years to come. So do your reasearch, save money, and be satisfied with your Web Hosting.

Fitness Rowers Are The Best

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

For a complete workout of the body fitness rowers are the best. They exercise the entire body, much in the same that swimming does. Thus it’s a great cardio vascular exercise, which helps to lose the calories as well as tone up the body. The fitness rower uses air as a means of resistance. Fitness rowers come with a variety of resistance levels. Thus a person can have the workout required by them. Therefore athletes as well as the beginners use it. The smaller fitness rowers are meant for home use. They can also be folded and tucked away to increase the usage of the spaces inside the house.

The best fitness rowers are also the most expensive ones. The upper end of the fitness rowers is means for the gym. They have a variety of resistance levels as well as programs to suit the needs of all. A control panel is a must because this displays feedback readings when exercising (found on the best fitness rowers) thereby making the exerciser reach their optimum workout level.

Since stationary bikes and the like can’t be stowed away, the usual storability of rowing machines is one of the greatest benefits they have. It is not an all-encompassing rule because the larger more expensive machines, although space efficient are not foldable.

Fitness rowers need to be assembled, before they can be made usable for workouts. Hence one should read the instructions manual carefully so as not to break any parts while assembling the fitness rower. The personal trainer or the gym instructor should be asked before . Ask around for the best available fitness rowers within a particular budgets. Sometimes the best fitness rowers are also available on discounts. Shop around before you purchase a fitness rower. This will enable you to negotiate for lower prices also and thus you can have savings.

Cisco CCNP / BCMSN Exam Tutorial: The Core Layer Of Cisco’s Three-Layer Model

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

In this section, you’re going to be reintroduced to a networking model you first saw in your CCNA studies. No, it’s not the OSI model or the TCP/IP model – it’s the Cisco Three-Layer Hierarchical Model. Let’s face it, just about all you had to do for the CCNA was memorize the three layers and the order they were found in that model, but the stakes are raised here in your CCNP studies. You need to know what each layer does, and what each layer should not be doing. This is vital information for your real-world network career as well, so let’s get started with a review of the Cisco three-layer model, and then we’ll take a look at each layer’s tasks. Most of the considerations at each layer are common sense, but we’ll go over them anyway!

Today we’ll take a look at the core layer of the Cisco model.

The term core switches refers to any switches found here. Switches at the core layer allow switches at the distribution layer to communicate, and this is more than a full-time job. It’s vital to keep any extra workload off the core switches, and allow them to do what they need to do – switch! The core layer is the backbone of your entire network, so we’re interested in high-speed data transfer and very low latency – that’s it!

Core layer switches are usually the most powerful in your network, capable of higher throughput than any other switches in the network. Remember, everything we do on a Cisco router or switch has a cost in CPU or memory, so we’re going to leave most frame manipulation and filtering to other layers. The exception is Cisco QoS, or Quality of Service. QoS is generally performed at the core layer. We’ll go into much more detail regarding QoS in another tutorial, but for now, know that QoS is basically high-speed queuing where special consideration can be given to certain data in certain queues. (You’ll soon find that this is a very basic definition!)

We always want redundancy, but you want a lot of redundancy in your core layer. This is the nerve center of your entire network, so fault tolerance needs to be as high as you can possibly get it. Root bridges should also be located in the core layer.

The importance of keeping unnecessary workload off your core switches cannot be overstated. In the next part of this BCMSN tutorial, we’ll take a look at how the other layers of the Cisco three-part model do just that.

What can an Armoire be Used For?

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

Families who live in homes accumulate many things over the years. It might be clothes that we keep buying, as we procrastinate over discarding old ones, gifts, items for kids that they have outgrown long ago, papers, documents and a lot of obsolete items.

All these items tend to occupy all the available shelves, drawers and storage spaces , creating over time an overflow. It is thefore a good option to keep nice sets of storage cabinets. Wooden home furniture is an example of cabinets and armoires available.
A wood armoire is a tall cupboard with shelves, which stands by itself, rather than being built into the wall. This makes it easy to move it around the house and even while relocating. The origin of the wood armoire is thought to be very old and they have been in use for a long time. There is a theory that the word itself came from the fact that armoires were originally used to store weapons in a household or palace. It is also likely that the term originated from the Italian word ‘arma” that refers to tools, meaning that the armoire was originally a tool storage unit.

Armoires are mostly made of wood and are moving out of their traditional uses to all parts of the home. They are also thought of as the predecessors of many other kinds of wooden cabinets and storage furniture. A wardrobe for instance is also known as an armoire, which has no shelves and contains a rod for hanging items. A pantry wood armoire is generally used to store plates, cups, bowls, and ceramic items. It can sometimes be used to store non-perishable grocery items in bins and storage containers. Wood armoires can also be used in the bedroom to store folded clothing. Living areas also benefit from the use of wood armoire as decorative home furniture where the family tools, plates and other things can be stored. A wood armoire thus becomes an essential part of home furniture.

Almost all hotels now use a wood armoires in their rooms, which can hold the television, and also provides storage areas for books, CDs, and DVDs.
Many different types of home furniture pieces are available in order to satisfy the different tastes, needs and budgets. The living room would require furniture like sofas, love seats, chairs, entertainment centers, coffee tables, end tables and display cabinets. Home furniture for the kitchen includes cabinets, kitchen racks, kitchen islands, chairs, stools and many other kinds of furniture to meet the needs of any kitchen. Beds, book cases, patio chairs, swings, bunk beds, desks, executive chairs, computer desks and many other home furniture pieces are available to decorate and use the home space creatively and effectively.

All kinds of home furniture designs are now available online. Most of the home furniture needs can be satisfied by readymade ones, but custom made options are also available. Another way to purchase good furniture might also be to visit flea markets or antique shops to find old furniture at good prices.
